Traits
- Legendary Resistance (6/Day). If the tarrasque fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
- Magic Resistance. The tarrasque has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
- Reflective Carapace. If targeted by Magic Missile or a spell requiring a ranged attack roll, roll 1d6. On 1–5, the tarrasque is unaffected. On 6, the spell is reflected back at the caster.
- Siege Monster. The tarrasque deals double damage to objects and structures.
Actions
- Multiattack. The tarrasque makes one Bite attack and three other attacks, using Claw or Tail in any combination.
- Bite. Melee Attack: +19, reach 15 ft. Hit: 36 (4d12 + 10) piercing damage. Target is Grappled (escape DC 20), Restrained while grappled, and can’t teleport.
- Claw. Melee Attack: +19, reach 15 ft. Hit: 28 (4d8 + 10) slashing damage.
- Tail. Melee Attack: +19, reach 30 ft. Hit: 23 (3d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage. Target (if Huge or smaller) is knocked Prone.
- Thunderous Bellow (Recharge 5–6). Constitution Save DC 27 in a 150-ft cone. Failure: 78 (12d12) thunder damage and the target is Deafened and Frightened until end of its next turn. Success: Half damage only.
Bonus Actions
- Swallow. Strength Save DC 27, one Large or smaller creature Grappled by the tarrasque. Failure: The target is Swallowed. While swallowed, the creature is Blinded, Restrained, can’t teleport, and has total cover. Takes 56 (16d6) acid damage at the start of each of the tarrasque’s turns.
- If the tarrasque takes 60+ damage in one turn from inside, it must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution save or regurgitate all swallowed creatures Prone within 10 feet. If the tarrasque dies, creatures can escape using 20 ft. of movement.
Legendary Actions (3/Turn)
- Onslaught. Move up to half Speed and make one Claw or Tail attack.
- World-Shaking Movement. Move up to full Speed. Then, unleash a shockwave in a 60-foot emanation. Creatures lose Concentration and if Medium or smaller, are knocked Prone. Cannot use this action again until the start of the tarrasque’s next turn.
